How Does Counselling Work?

You may already have an idea about counselling, but it is important to know that there is not one type of therapy that suits everyone. My main priority is to work with you to develop, what we call, a healthy and therapeutic relationship. That is, we trust each other and you have a safe space (free from judgement) to work. We can then use a range of different creative and traditional methods to enable you to work through problems and find new ways to react to those difficulties. Some of these methods are listed below.
