“Loving ourselves through the process of owning our own story is the bravest thing we’ll ever do.” - Brené Brown

Frankie Brown MIACP, M.A.

Counsellor and Psychotherapist

Many people find that, at some point in their life, they may need to talk to someone in a confidential and caring space. Sometimes a friend or another person you trust can help and other times you need someone else. I provide an opportunity to work with you, together, to explore worries or problems, find new ways of coping and to help you with making your own decisions.

People enter counselling for a number of reasons; to resolve deep rooted problems from the past, overcome current challenges and/or worries about the future. Everyone's story is unique and we can work together to create a counselling journey that’s right for you, in total confidence.

I have experience of working with children, adolescents and adults. Below are a few of the difficulties that often lead people to counselling and some examples of how I can help. If you would like to talk about any of the topics below, or something else, please get in touch.

“Frankie is an inclusive, generous and supportive colleague. Since I returned to Ireland to live, Frankie has helped me to link in with other therapists during the time it took to become established in the psychology profession in Ireland. As a facilitator of a supportive peer group, her strong ethical practice and open-mindedness have been very encouraging.”
